Tabuns: Ontario needs decisive climate action

QUEEN’S PARK – Official Opposition NDP critic for energy and climate action Peter Tabuns (Toronto – Danforth) called for decisive climate action as latest reports show Ontario’s emissions rates rising two years in a row, more than any other province in Canada.

“Ontarians need a government that ensures a safe climate and energy future,” said Tabuns. “But under this government’s leadership, Ontario’s emissions are headed in the wrong direction. Failure to act decisively on climate change promises a much harder and more expensive life for all of us.”
